Why, I’m So Glad You Want A Delicious Caffeine-Free Substitute For Your Afternoon Chai Latte To Help Your Sleep!

In the last post, I gave you 5 tips to help you get some better sleep. In one of those tips, I did mention to have no caffeine after 12 noon. Ok, yes there are different work, schedules, but I am taking into the law of averages!  That said, I do have a great caffeine-free chai latte recipe for you below 🙂

Your Afternoon “Coffee Break” Caffeine-Free Chai Latte RecipeCaffeine Free Chai Latte

This recipe is good for 1 to 2 servings.

What You Need – 

  • 1 bag of rooibos chai tea (rooibos is naturally caffeine-free)
  • 2 cups of boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (creamy is preferred)
  • 2 dates (optional)

Putting It Together – 

  1. Cover the teabag and dates (if using) with 2 cups of boiling water and steep for a few minutes.
  2. Discard the tea bag & place tea, soaked dates, tahini & almond butter into a blender.
  3. Blend until creamy.
  4. Serve and Enjoy!


Tip:  You can try this with other nut or seed butters to see which flavour combination you like the best.  Cashew butter anyone?
